Garmont and Flextail and Naturehike in action in Norway

There we were, all packed and ready, our car is fully loaded in the direction of Twente. There we would our rented LandRover Defender 130 with roof top tent and zijtent retrieve. The next two weeks on an adventure in the direction of Scandinavia! What looked we are there and it is a pity that it is over!

With us went the Garmont Pinnacle GTX® and the Garmont Dragontail LT WMS, the Flextail Gear camping lantern, Helio , and a Nature Hike dekenmodel sleeping bag Outdoors Ultra Light. Our trip was a perfect opportunity for some of our products to the test.

Now, a few weeks after our trip, it is time to tell how the products of us have given birth.

The Garmont Pinnacle GTX® - since 2012, I had my first pair of hiking boots, the La Sportiva Karakorum Evo GTX. These were really nice shoes I really almost every weekend on ran. But after a new insole midway through to be replaced by the wear and tear I have had the shoe for a moment look at the tips and there it was on the inside and a small hole emerged. That idea I had because truly waterproof, they were also not more. Once treated, that was better, but after two times by water, it was still not completely dry. So it's time for new and yes it is a new brand in your shop yet, immediately the opportunity to have a nice walking shoe to find out. This was the Garmont Pinnacle GTX®, perhaps a little too firm shoe, but I'm happy with it. Of course, before we left well worn to blisters and other hassle to avoid. But yes, in Norway, was this year still so warm that I sadly enough only a few times have worn. But the times that we are still in the direction of a waterfall were doing, they were very welcome. The first part through the forest was fine and then came the piece that we had to go rise and then you will be really happy with a solid walking shoe. Nice and tight around the ankles and go! Delicious on the rocks-hopped and just sit by the waterfall. Here come these shoes really to his right.

The Garmont Dragontail LT WMS – a super-fine shoe. Step in and walk away. The shoes were not really worn, but to be honest, for me that was not necessary. It was boarding and walking. No time pain in my feet had (and I have very sensitive feet), probably this is also due to the good footbed. The shoes are comfortable and due to the continuous laces are exactly on your foot, like you she likes to wear. The outsole with a good tread making walking on different substrates with a right good do! Gravel paths, sandy paths, forest paths, wet stones, I have all along had, and the shoe slipped not a few times. Although this shoe with Goretex is treated, it remains up to a certain point really still waterproof, a stream crossing is full in the water I would, however, not for the faint of heart, unless the boulders are well above the water, jutting out of course, because that grip, that you do have with these shoes. Yes, I am super satisfied with these shoes. They sit and walk nice.

The Flextail Gear camping lantern Helio – what a compact light! After a bit of fiddling to find out how to open it gets to loading, the closure is tight, the light after more than 2 weeks in the evening used to have to read and to shine as the children should dress up still not empty. We have the lamp not yet having to load. The beam is wide enough to shine and not be completely in the dark. And that for such a small square thingy. Ideal.

The Nature Hike dekenmodel sleeping bag was by one of our children used. Because it's so hot, she has not much in located. The big advantage of this bag is that there is no curve for the head is present. In addition, he is completely open to the zips and is therefore easy to use as a blanket. For us, troubled child, was very useful, so we her and yet again under the sleeping bag could get when the night got colder. We are of the opinion that the sleeping bag is sufficient warm for a regular campingtrip from the autumn, possibly with a liner. The fabric on the outside and inside is comfortable. You notice, however, that the polycotton is, but that is no problem for us. All in all a great sleeping bag!
