The tent is a perfect tent which is quite minimized by an appropriate combination of modern, lightweight materials and technology in the construction is used in both the tent as the floor. The used Dural in the tent poles is widely used in the expeditietenten where every gram counts. Dural is an aluminium alloy with additional elements that the low weight is reached and thus have the ability to do larger loads to withstand.
The inside of the tent is made of 20D nylon ripstop that is very lightweight and breathable synthetic fibres with sufficient strength and flexibility. The material is also suitable for frost since it has good thermal insulation properties. Also the ripstop modification (tissue is with this technology woven) prevents tearing of the fabric.
For the outside of the tent is made use of 20D 360T nylon ripstop which has the same characteristics as the ripstop on the inside of the tent. To ensure that you the tent is also nice and stays dry on the outside, a double-sided siliconencoating used to the material, to protect against the ingress of moisture in a very efficient and complete way. A lightweight, extra strong impregnation that is on the highest level is applied to the outer shell of the tent. This ensures that the treated material has a significantly increased UV resistance and good thermo-insulating properties. This allows the tent in very cold conditions.
The used combination of the double-sided silicone coating together with the nylon ripstop is the most advanced and lightest combination of technology on the market today.
The floor is made of 70D 210T Nylon, polyurethane, again a very light and breathable material that is sufficiently strong and flexible, is very effective against cracks and other damage. Also in frost offers this combination outcome by the good thermal insulation properties. The polyurethane coating is a permanent impregnation directly in different layers on the material is applied. By this special textielbehandeling prevents the ingress of water. This coating has a water column of 10,000 mm / cm2
The tent is delivered with a 5 mm lightweight pegs and a repair kit.
