GoreTex membrane

The Gore-tex membrane consists of a microporous structure that contains more than 1,400 million microscopic pores per cm2. These pores are about 20,000 times smaller than a drop of water. making it impossible for water to pass through the membrane. On the other hand, the pores of the membrane are 700 times larger than a molecular water vapor, which allows sweat to escape to the outside without affecting the waterproofing of the membrane. Maintenance instructions:

• To give the shoes the best care and extend their life, Chiruca has given a number of care instructions.
• Allow the shoe to dry naturally after use in the air. Do not try to speed up the drying process by placing them near a heat source. If you do this, you run the risk that the leather will dry out or stiffen.
• On the inside, remove the moisture by making a stopper out of a newspaper and putting it in your shoe (this will remove the moisture from your shoe)
• When they are dry you can gently brush them to clean
• Clean them only with a squeezed damp cloth or a mild soapy solution
• Then lubricate them with a natural cream for leather, this will nourish the leather and prevent tearing (without limiting breathability)
• Use a waterproof treatment regularly, this repels dirt and stains and helps keep the leather clean and dry
