The Ivanhoe cardigan Bella FZ for women in wool is a cardigan or thin jumper for women with a full zip front and side zipped pockets. The vest is just slightly thinner than most of Ivanhoe's other jumpers and cardigans. The jumper is knitted in the thinner, cooler quality of boiled wool in a blend of wool and Tencel®. This provides a slightly softer and cooler feel for the skin close to the body.

Wool is a living material that adapts to your body temperature. In warm temperatures, moisture and body heat are absorbed by the wool and transported away from the body. At colder temperatures, heat is retained by the millions of microscopic air pockets naturally found in wool. Even when wet (absorbs 30% of its weight in moisture), wool keeps you warm. A nice bonus is that the wool is naturally odour-resistant.

The wool used by Ivanhoe is the wool from Europe, real wool from real sheep. The lambswool is soft but also a fragile fabric, a mix with 20% polyamide makes it stronger, more stable and longer to wear. A newer even thinner boiled lambswool in the blend of 80% lambswool, 18% polyamide and 2% lycra is a thoughtful combination designed by professional garment makers. The fine and extra-fine merino wool is a wool that is nice and soft and can be worn directly on the skin. The unique merino knit is balanced and designed for optimal comfort.

Hang the garment in fresh air for a while and the clothes will quickly revive and feel clean and fresh. When washing, pay close attention to the washing instructions in the side seam. Most Ivanhoe items can be machine washed using the 30°C wool programme. When hand-washing, wash carefully and rub gently.

Not only will your garment last longer if you treat it as mentioned above, you are also helping nature by airing your clothes more and washing them less.
