The Ivanhoe Kurre Full Zip Loden Green men’s sleeveless woollen gilet – Green is a gilet with clean lines and a stylish design, knitted from a finer, cooler boiled wool blend with Tencel® that fits close to the body. The drawstring at the hem ensures a perfect fit. At the front, the gilet has a contoured zip fastening and zipped side pockets. Wool is a living material that adapts to your body temperature. In warm conditions, moisture and body heat are absorbed by the wool and wicked away from the body. In colder temperatures, heat is retained thanks to the millions of microscopic air pockets naturally present in wool. Even when wet (it absorbs 30 per cent of its weight in moisture), the wool keeps you warm. A nice bonus is that wool is naturally odour-resistant.

The wool used by Ivanhoe is sourced from Europe – genuine wool from real sheep. Lambswool is soft but also a delicate fabric; a blend containing 20% polyamide makes it stronger, more durable and longer-lasting. A newer, even finer boiled lambswool blend comprising 80% lambswool, 18% polyamide and 2% Lycra is a carefully considered combination designed by professional garment makers. Fine and extra-fine merino wool is wonderfully soft and can be worn directly against the skin. The unique merino knit is well-balanced and designed for optimum comfort.

Simply hang the garment out in the fresh air for a while and it will quickly revive, feeling clean and fresh again. When washing, please follow the care instructions in the side seam carefully. Most Ivanhoe items can be machine-washed on the wool cycle at 30 °C. If hand-washing, wash gently and rub softly.

Not only will your garment last longer if you treat it as described above, but you’ll also be helping the environment by airing your clothes more often and washing them less frequently.
