The Chiruca Cares Boa Hi - Vis-Goretex-Vibram-Brown is a mid-height hiking shoe from the Spanish brand Chiruca. An A / B hiking shoe that is also used for hunting.

GoreTex membrane
This material ensures that it keeps breathing, but also that your feet do not get wet by external water. This makes the shoes waterproof from the outside and breathable from the inside. The GORE-tex membrane consists of a microporous structure that contains more than 1,400 million microscopic pores per cm2. These pores are about 20,000 times smaller than a drop of water. making it impossible for water to pass through the membrane. On the other hand, the pores of the membrane are 700 times larger than a molecule of water vapor, allowing sweat to escape outwards without affecting the waterproofness of the membrane. By preventing the heat from accumulating, the feet remain dry and warm. Gore-Tex offers an ideal combination of optimal comfort and durable protection.
Vibram sole
Vibram guarantees shock absorption, durability, temperature and wear resistance, grip and good anti - slip behaviour. Because walking on rocks is different than on asphalt, Vibram designs specific soles for the different models of Chiruca.
BOA system
A special system that ensures that your shoe is securely fastened with an easier way than tying your shoelace. A metal cable that acts as a lace runs through the shoe by means of a reel system.

Care instructions:
- In order to give the shoes the best care and to extend the service life, Chiruca has given a number of maintenance instructions.
- Allow the shoe to air dry naturally after use. Do not try to speed up the drying process by placing them close to a heat source. If you do, you run the risk of the leather drying out or stiffening.
- Remove the moisture from the inside by turning a newspaper into a gag and putting it in your shoe (it removes the moisture from your shoe))
- If they are dry you can gently brush them to clean
- Only clean them with a squeezed damp cloth or a mild soap solution
- Then lubricate them with a natural cream for leather, this nourishes the leather and prevents tearing (without limiting breathability))
- Use regular waterproof treatment, this repels dirt and stains and helps keep the leather clean and dry
